Return to Castle Wolfenstein

I just played this game. It took me not much to play it trough. It is a pretty old game, but it is a good one. What I like about it is the fast-paced action. The movement is quick and you can quickly find yourself emerged in the finely made world. Killing nazis was always fun, but this makes it even more fun.

I liked the graphics and there are no glitches in the game. My favorite character from the game is a hooker, just wandering around the room and being afraid of you.

The game is about you being a Serious Sam-like hero (typically American) who has to infiltrate German bases during WW2 and find all kinds of evidence and kill all kind of bosses. If you played Serious Sam or Counter strike, you will have no problem with this game. Sometimes enemy just comes out from nowhere, but otherwise you just have to rush trough the map and slay everyone. Using corners is a good tactic, staying in plain fire result in you being dead in seconds.

Bosses are not that well differentiated, I slew several of them thinking they were simple soldiers. Some secret areas are easy to find, some are harder, but when filled with adrenalin and wanting to slay the enemy, you simply forget about secrets and treasure. I think this thing just came from the real DOS Wolfenstein and developers kept it.

My rating for this game is 7 out of 10;
