This one has a pretty long name, but for the ones with good imagination, it really works well.

Dar messiah of might and magic is a first person hack and slash RPG. Back in the day, when I got my hands on it, I had a lot of technical difficulties with it, because it froze a lot. This took away a bit from the game for me, but I managed to solve it by patching the game. When it finally ran smoothly, I enjoyed this game a lot.

First of all, the game has a very good narrative. It really captured me and it always has some cinematic to help you if you feel tired.

One thing I have to mention is the graphics. This game is good even at today’s standards, but back when I played it, it was mesmerizing. It had all the little details that made you stop now and then to just look around.

The game-play is pretty straight-forward. You can choose from a set of skills by earning skill points progressing. The game can be punishing, if you do not block attacks or do not pay attention, but it is not that hard to get the hang of it. Also, the objectives are so diverse, that it really makes the game to be more like a movie.
